G Presents Lover’s Collection LOV-26A-1 G-Shock and Baby-G Pair commemorates Seasonal Pair Collection 30th anniversary with Girls Don’t Cry collaboration

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Seasonal Pair Collection, Casio is releasing the G Presents Lover’s Collection LOV-26A-1 including a G-Shock DW-5600 and Baby-G BGD-565 pair. This set is a collaboration with graphic artist Verdy’s streetwear brand Girls Don’t Cry. The watches feature a minimalist design with a brand logo on the face, along with the tagline “Made With Love.” A logo pattern adorns the band (in black on the G-Shock and white on the Baby-G), and butterfly images (three red butterflies on the G-Shock and one green butterfly on the Baby-G) appear when the LED backlights are activated. Devil and angel graphics designed by Verdy are engraved on the case backs of the G-Shock and Baby-G. The set also includes a limited edition pouch made up of two small pouches that snap together, featuring a heart-shaped metal charm.

In Japan, the LOV-26A-1JR pair has a price of ¥38,500 and will be available for pre-ordering on November 1, with a release on November 20. Verdy’s Gift Shop will also be accepting pre-orders starting on October 30. This set is also listed at the G-Shock international site for Asia and G-Shock South Korea, and the pouch is included outside of Japan. Seasonal Pair Collection releases like this are typically released in Asia only.
