G-Shock ‘Energy Pack’ series features classic squares (DW-5600EP, GMD-S5600EP) with vivid colors

The G-Shock Energy Pack Series includes three classic DW-5600 watches and one smaller GMD-S5600 watch in vivid colors. The blue DW-5600EP-2, red DW-5600EP-4, yellow DW-5600EP-9, and yellow GMD-S5600EP-9 seem to be unofficially inspired by the colors of hydration drink bottles like Prime. When the LED backlight is activated, a lightning bolt pattern appears on the display, which is more Gatorade-like.

The DW-5600EP models measure 48.9 x 42.8 x 13.4 millimeters and weigh 58 grams each, with an approximate battery life of five years. The GMD-S5600EP-9 measures 45.7 x 40.5 x 11.9 millimeters and weighs 41 grams, with an approximate battery life of three years. These models will be released in Japan in June with a tax-included price of 13,200 yen each, with other regions expected to follow.

Update: G-Shock U.S. released the DW5600EP-2, DW5600EP-4, and DW5600EP-9 for $99 each in July.
