G-Shock continues its rise as one of the world’s most fashionable brands at New York Fashion Week. Casio America featured its second collaboration with top fashion designers Nicholas K. and Timo Weiland at the Fall/Winter 2015 New York Fasion Week. Casio also announced a new seasonal partnership with FGI Rising Star nominee Harbison. The Nicholas K. runway show took place at the Lincoln Center on Thursday, February 12, marking the first integrated show at FW15 NYFW with the G-Shock S Series. The Nicholas K. show featured S-Series cases converted into pocket watches that hung from the models’ waists. The Timo Weiland show took place at Pier 59 also on Thursday and featured gold S Series watches integrated into the sleeves of custom-made jackets. The Harbison show at the The Standard Highline on February 17 featured the S Series for the first time.
The G-Shock S Series is a recent addition to the G-Shock family and is the first G-Shock series designed specifically for women. The GMDS6900 series features the same classic look as a 6900 series G-Shock in a smaller form while the GMAS110 series offers a high-tech, contemporary design. Both series are available in a wide variety of colors.
