G-Shock is releasing another limited Japan-made series based on Japanese culture with the theme of sushi. All three watches come with exclusive elements including a teacup graphic engraved on the case back and special packaging.
The red DW-5600SSH-4 has a tuna (or maguro) sashimi theme with a translucent red bezel and band (with a red center case), tuna flesh pattern on the face, a wasabi-colored G-Shock logo, and a tuna silhouette.
The black DW-6900SSH-1 has a salmon roe (or ikura) handroll theme, with the black bezel and band representing a seaweed roll and a salmon roe pattern on the face with a matching orange front light button. The mixed-molded band is black on the outer layer and white on the inner layer to represent rice, which is visible from the side of the watch, and the center case is also white.
The orange GA-2100SSH-4A has a salmon theme with the dial resembling fatty salmon sashimi and a wasabi-colored G-Shock logo on the dial.
All three models are made at the Yamagata Casio factory in Japan and are now available for pre-ordering in Japan with the following prices: DW-5600SSH-4JR (Â¥19,250), DW-6900SSH-1JR (Â¥20,350), GA-2100SSH-4AJR (Â¥21,450). These models were announced only in Japan so far, but some previous Japanese culture models have been released internationally following Japan, and we believe these are likely candidates.
