Los Angeles-based streetwear retailer Pleasures is launching the G-Shock DW5600PDP251 collaboration with itself and French electronic music duo Daft Punk, which will be released (today) on October 9 (10 a.m. PST) at PleasuresNow.com. The limited edition “Digital Love” watch takes its name from the group’s 2021 song from its Discovery album. It features a graphic of the duo’s helmets on the lower face, Pleasures and Daft Club logos on the band, and Daft Punk logos on the LED backlight and case back. The band also features a colorful print inspired by the LED helmet lights from the Discovery era.
Pleasures will be offering its email subscribers early access sales to 75 watches with registration at pleasuresnow.com. The price of the watch was not announced yet. The watch is likely to be released in the U.S. only, but PleasuresNow.com offers international shipping. The watch may also be released at gshock.casio.com/us soon. [Update: The DW5600PDP251 ($180) will be released at casio.com/us and at the G-Shock Soho Store (NYC) on October 16.]
Pleasures also has a Daft Punk collection of other clothing and household items at pleasuresnow.com/collections/daft-punk.
