We’re not sure exactly where Casio got the inspiration for the G-Shock DW-5610SC-2 and GA-2110SC-4A, but Americans will likely think of the New York Knicks or Mets or the Florida Gators (blue and orange) and the Miami Hurricanes (orange and green) when seeing these colorful watches. Both models feature a specially molded bezel using two colors in a single piece for a contrasting style. Also listed for an international release (but excluding Japan) is the green GA-700SC-3A with blue accents on the hour markers. The GA-700 is significantly larger than the other two models and features a battery life of approximately five years.
Update: G-Shock U.S. released the DW5610SC-2 ($110), GA700SC-3A ($99), and DW5610SC-2 ($110), officially titled the “Skater Flavor” series.
