The Top 5 G-Shock Fan Channels on YouTube

YouTube channels dedicated to G-Shock continue the tradition that Sjors started of spreading the G-Shock love online. Here are our top five unofficial G-Shock YouTube channels.

Soft-spoken G-Shock collector TheDoktor210884 suffered from DW-6900-envy as a child which developed into a full blown G-Shock addiction as an adult. That’s great for us as his channel is one of the most interesting ones out there. The Dok is so hardcore that he even creates his own custom bezels and bands. In addition to showcasing his impressive collection and latest acquisitions, he also has instructional videos on making these custom G-Shocks.

Gshock Highfashion

Based in Japan, gshock highfashion has access to all the new G-Shock releases and collaboration watches. We especially like how his videos often feature Japanese stores and street scenes to provide a great armchair travel experience. While most G-Shock collectors tend to slow down over time, we have a feeling GHF never will. Be sure to also check out his excellent Instagram.

Mike Hughes

Though not the most active channel as of late, mike hughes has been a G-Shock collector since 2012 and has a lot of nice videos, including some tutorial videos on how to change the battery on popular models like the GA-110 and DW-6900.

Watches Mail Order Kawashima is the premier YouTube channel for getting a close-up look at the latest G-Shock models out of Japan. This channel features HD videos of the newest watches as soon as they are released, giving you a look from all angles as the watches are displayed on a rotating stand.

Indonesian watch seller indowatch provides unboxing videos, wrist shots, and comparison videos. This channel is unique in that many of the videos feature more than one G-Shock side-by-side, so you can get an idea of how different models compare in size.
