A new collaboration with fashion brand Youths In Balaclava is launching on April 1 in Singapore. The limited edition G-Shock DW-5600YIB23-8 has a jungle-inspired floral motif on the turquoise face, a translucent gray bezel, and a black band with a white floral pattern. The balaclava logo is etched on the stainless steel case back and also appears on the exclusive packaging. According to the case back, this model is made in Japan.
Youths In Balaclava was founded in 2015 and takes an agitator approach to fashion. According to the brand, “To don the balaclava is to unite and celebrate expression.”
The DW-5600YIB23-8 will be available online for S$179 at Casio Singapore on April 1, 2023, at 11 a.m. The watch will also be available at official G-Shock stores in Singapore and a special package edition will be available only at the G-Shock Store at Marina Bay Sands. The watch is also currently available at youthsinbalaclava.com for US$138 with international shipping available.
Update: The watch is also being released in Indonesia, Malaysia (casio.com/my), and Thailand.
