German artist and designer Marok (a.k.a. Thomas Marecki) designed the special EL backlight graphic for the recent No Comply Series and now has his own limited edition release with the GD-120LM-1A. The GD-120LM-1A is based on the large-size digital GD-120 featuring an estimated 7-year battery. This collaboration model has a contemporary artistic style with black and white patterns on the face and lower band which is inspired by hip hop and skateboard culture. The energetic patterns are meant to represent vibrations, electronic flashes, and flash visuals. The watch also has a reverse LCD display with a purple tint and Marok’s signature engraved on the case back. It is presented in a custom box and tin featuring the same patterns.
The GD-120LM-1AJR is scheduled for an April 2018 release in Japan with a list price of ¥15,500 JPY. The GD-120LM-1A is also an April release in Asia.
