G-Shock is releasing two monotone GA-2000 variants: the black GA-2000S-1A and the white GA-2000S-7A. The white GA-2000S-7A is notable for being the first and only GA-2000 model with positive LCD subdisplays. Along with G-Shock’s standard shock resistance and 200-meter water resistance, these lightweight Carbon Core Guard models feature Neo-Brite luminous hands, world time, 1/100 second stopwatch, 24-hour countdown timer, and dual Super Illuminator LED lights with front light button.
Like all GA-2000 models, these watches have bands with quick-release levers that make replacing them an easy task. Casio is releasing four new replacement bands that can be purchased separately this month in Japan. The GA-2000 is also compatible with third-party 24-millimeter quick release bands.
The GA-2000S-1AJF and GA-2000S-7AJF are June 2019 releases in Japan and are expected to be released worldwide. The GA-2000S-1A and GA-2000S-7A are also June 2019 releases in the rest of Asia.
