Casio adds three colors and a leather band to the retro A100

Casio released three new colorways for the retro A100 series for February 2022 in Asia. The A100 series made its debut in 2021 and is a tribute to the F-100 from 1978, which is known as the first resin-cased Casio watch and the watch from the 1979 science fiction horror film “Alien.” The A100 adds a metallic look with a chrome-plated resin case.
The silver A100WE-7B has an inverted LCD display and stainless steel band. The black and gold A100WEGG-1A2 has a gray ion plated stainless steel band. The black and silver A100WEL-1A is the first A100 model with a leather band, which is genuine leather. Features of the A100 include resin glass, water resistance, 1/10-second stopwatch (59’59.9” max), daily alarm, hourly time signal, auto-calendar, and LED backlight.
