G-Shock is releasing a full metal series featuring a multi-color gradation on the face and dial. The series includes two GMW-B5000 and two GM-B2100 models with a stainless steel bezel and band, along with a stainless steel screw-back case. These are the fifth and sixth GM-B2100 models to be released after the three debut models and the gold GM-B2100GD-9A. All models feature shock resistance, 200-meter water resistance, Tough Solar power, and Bluetooth smartphone link. The GMW-B5000 models also have Multi-Band 6 automatic radio time adjustment. The series will be released in Japan on October 13, 2023, with other regions expected to follow.
Update: German YouTuber WatchDavid posted a hands-on video with exclusive footage of the series. This is another example of G-Shock watches that look better on video or in person than they do in the catalog images.
Casio released a promotional video featuring NBA player Rui Hachimura wearing the GM-B2100PC-1A.
