Casio has been going all out with the Tiffany-like turquoise blue dials lately, and the newest model to feature this color is the Edifice EFR-S108D-2BV. Following the regularly sold out MTP-1302PD-2A2V which was modeled after the Rolex Datejust, the EFR-S108D-2BV is another three-hand analog model with a date display and offers a new style with an octagonal bezel and some upgrades such as a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and 100-meter water resistance. This stainless steel model is part of the Edifice Slim line, measuring 44.8 x 39.9 x 7.8 millimeters and weighing 110 grams. The battery life is about three years on a SR916SW battery.
(There hasn’t been a G-Shock in this style yet, but perhaps the closest is the GA-2100RC-1A, which has turquoise blue indexes.)
The EFR-S108D-2BV was announced for an October 2023 release in the international Asia region (excluding Japan). Release information for individual countries is coming soon. This model will also be joined by the EFR-S108D-2AV with a traditional blue dial and the EFR-S108D-3AV with an olive green dial.
