DW-6900U-1 is now the most affordable G-Shock watch on Amazon

The standard G-Shock DW-5600 and DW-6900 models are usually around the same price, but the DW6900-1V is currently selling for just $40.46, which is its lowest price since Amazon started selling the DW-6900U-1 (with LED backlight and 5-year battery) under the existing DW6900-1V product page in 2024. (A recent customer review from April 5, 2025, includes images of the DW-6900U-1, which is identifiable by the “LED Backlight” label on the face and the “3529” module number and “DW-6900U” label on the case back.) The product page states that this is 49% off the list price of $79.95, but the DW6900-1V now has a price of $99.95 at casio.com, so it’s actually close to 60% off that price. Amazon is currently selling the DW-5600UE-1 for $55.74, and the DW6900-1V/DW-6900U-1 is currently the most affordable G-Shock on Amazon, but the price is subject to change at any time. The other lowest-priced G-Shocks on Amazon include various DW-9052 models around $50 and below. (Note that receiving the DW-6900U-1 under the DW6900-1V product page applies to orders “Sold by Amazon.com,” and other sellers could possibly be selling the old DW6900-1V.)
Introduced in 1995 and celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the DW-6900 is one of the most iconic G-Shock series and has been popular over the decades for military use as well as casual fashion and collaborations with streetwear brands.
