G-Shock Frogman featured on My Watch Story at Hodinkee

“My Watch Story” at watch supersite Hodinkee is a weekly video series in which readers talk about their favorite watches. In the latest edition, Adam Warrix of Fort Wayne, Indiana, discusses how he was introduced to G-Shock while serving in the Navy, how he got an incredible deal on the G-Shock Frogman GW-200MS, and how it served him well until the current day.

The GW-200 series was the fourth generation Frogman and the first with Tough Solar power. Like all Frogman watches with a digital display, the GW-200 had a screw-lock case back. Longtime fans will fondly recall the many limited edition GW-200 models that were released from 2001 to 2009. The GW-200MS-1 was released in March 2009 and was the third to last GW-200 model. The GW-200 was succeeded by the GWF-1000 in 2009, which is still an active model in Japan, along with the sixth-generation Frogman GWF-D1000 and the new analog Frogman GWF-A1000.
