Three new Multicolor Accents models will be joining the Tough Solar and Bluetooth-equipped GA-B2100 series starting in October 2023 in Japan. The black GA-B2100FC-1A, olive green GA-B2100FC-3A, and white GA-B2100FC-7A feature a monochromatic style for the bezel, band, and dial combined with multicolor accents for the bezel lettering and dial elements, giving the series a playful and celebratory vibe that is reminiscent of ’80s and ’90s fashion (like Benetton). There haven’t been many GA-B2100 models released since the series made its debut in 2022, and these bring the total to ten (including all international and Japan releases).
These slim and lightweight Carbon Core Guard models measure 48.5 x 45.4 x 11.9 millimeters and weigh 52 grams. In addition to Tough Solar power (with power saving function) and Bluetooth smartphone link, major features include shock resistance, 200-meter water resistance, world time, stopwatch, timer, 5 daily alarms, full auto calendar, and double LED light with LCD backlight. A Bluetooth connection to a smartphone with the Casio Watches app provides additional functions such as auto time adjustment, easy watch setting, around 300 world time cities, time & place log, reminders, and phone finder. In Japan, the tax-included price for the GA-B2100FC-1AJF, GA-B2100FC-3AJF, and GA-B2100FC-7AJF is 24,200 yen each. Release information for other countries is not yet available, but the series was also announced on the international G-Shock Instagram account, so it is expected to be released worldwide.
Update: G-Shock U.S. released the GAB2100FC-1A, GAB2100FC-3A, and GAB2100FC-7A for $160 each in October.
