G-Shock Gravitymaster GW-A1100 series may be discontinued [or not]

It looks like the G-Shock Gravitymaster GW-A1100 series may be discontinued, as the GW-A1100-1A3JF recently sold out online at Casio Japan and there are only a few left in stock at most official G-Shock Store locations in Japan. The GW-A1100-1A3 was released internationally in 2013 (for $650 in U.S.) but in recent years was a Japan-only model and the last remaining GW-A1100. It is known as a higher-end Japan-made aviation watch featuring Tough Solar power, Multi-Band 6, compass sensor, Triple G Resist, and a flyback chronograph. The GW-A1100 was also the first non-MR-G G-Shock series to use a sapphire crystal.

We’ll be keeping an eye on its status as well as its availability at other retailers where the GW-A1100-1A3JF remains in stock at the moment.

Update: The GW-A1100-1A3JF is back in stock at Casio Japan, but it does not appear to have been restocked at physical G-Shock Store locations in Japan where inventory is low.
