The first limited edition release of the new GWF-D1000 Frogman with depth meter is the GWF-D1000K-7JR, a Love The Sea And The Earth 2016 I.C.E.R.C. 25th Anniversary edition. G-Shock Japan is releasing this model in July 2016 for with a limited production of 1,500 units.
The Love The Sea And The Earth 2016 collection celebrates the 25th anniversary of I.C.E.R.C. (International Cetacean Education and Research Centres) which is dedicated to whale and dolphin research. This year’s I.C.E.R.C. editions feature white bezels with blue bands with the familiar “All As One” logo and Love The Sea And The Earth branding with a whale silhouette. The Love The Sea And The Earth 2016 collection also includes the GWX-8903K-7JR and Baby-G BGR-3006K-7JR I.C.E.R.C. 25th anniversary editions and the animal-themed GW-9402KJ-2JR Rangeman Earthwatch edition, arriving in June 2016.
G-Shock GWF-D1000K-7JR Frogman
The GWF-D1000K-7JR has a white bezel with black front screws and buttons, blue bands, and a custom engraved Love The Sea And The Earth 2016 case back. Retail list price is ¥130,000 JPY. The last Love The Sea And The Earth/I.C.E.R.C. Frogman model was 2014’s pink GF-8250K-4JR. The GWF-D1000K-7JR is a July 2016 release in Japan.
G-Shock GWX-8903K-7JR
The GWX-8903K-7JR is a Tough Solar/Multi-Band 6 large case G-LIDE model with a tide and moon graph. It has a whale on its front facing backlight button, an EL backlight with a whale silhouette, and a silver metal band keeper with a whale engraving. Retail list price is ¥25,000 JPY.
Baby-G BGR-3006K-7JR
The Baby-G BGR-3006K-7JR is a Tough Solar/Multi-Band 6 model featuring an EL backlight with a dolphin silhouette and a silver metal band keeper with a dolphin engraving. Retail list price is ¥22,000 JPY.
