The Charlize Theron-led action film follows the adventures of a team of immortal mercenaries, as they fight to keep their identity a secret while discovering a new and unexpected member. Directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, the first black female director of a top ten Netflix original, the film also stars KiKi Layne, Matthias Schoenaerts, Luca Marinelli, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. The film was reported to be on track to reach 72 million households in its first four weeks, and a sequel seems to be very likely.
This is the second G-Shock appearance in a recent Netflix exclusive, following the Rangeman GW-9400-3 worn by Chris Hemsworth in “Extraction,” the top Netflix original film of all time.
