The AWR-M100SAR-1A, GA-140AR-1A, GA-700AR-1A, GAS-100AR-1A, and GW-B5600AR-1 will also be released in other Asian countries. Casio America is releasing the GA140AR-1A (US$110 list price), GA700AR-1A ($110), and the GWB5600AR-1 ($150) as the “Adrenaline Red Series.”

I really wish Casio would ‘also’ make a slightly bigger DW5600 at 46.5mm wide, scaled up from it’s 42.8.
When looking down on my 7.25 inch wrist it looks fine but when looking in the mirror i can’t help feeling… it’s just a bit too small.
Just a slight size increase and it would still fit under a sleeve. Remain a smallish/medium sized classic G-Shock. Appeal to a larger market (especially larger wristed buyers) and most importantly, look slightly less retro and more modern-era masculine on wrist.
We have the large 50mm+ squares with the 7900, GD350 AND GX56 so a medium size would slot nicely in-between.
Out of curiosity i tried a square lookalike at 50mm wide and at that size it becomes too big, almost like a mini TV screen on your wrist. But trying both my DW5600 and the 50mm on separate wrists and looking in the mirror, there is a definite size sweet-spot right in between the two at 46.5mm wide.
That’s a great idea, and I’m surprised they haven’t done that yet.

Can you confirm if the GW-B5600AR-1JF is using the same 3459 module as in the GMW-B5000D-1?
Also, any guess as to why they aren’t using the words “Multiband 6” on the dial? I find it odd to leave that off…
1. GW-B5600AR-1JF has module 3461 but it has the same functions and shares the same instruction manual with the GMW-B5000D-1. 2. I’m guessing it’s an aesthetic choice, and they’ve been putting a lot of emphasis on the Bluetooth feature lately.

What I really want is a 5610 that’s looks like the 5600bb colouring!
I think I need to purchase the 5610 first as it’s a recreation of the original from April 1983 and its the year and month I was born
The 5600bb looks so great but my main issue is being unable to turn off the beeps, and I would end up having to cut the spring!

Just grabbed the red square (gw-b5600ar-1cr) from the g shock store in soho, nyc. She’s a beauty for sure! The red display is tricky at certain angles, but I don’t care. I was there to buy the red ga-2100, but when I saw this one, I had to get it instead. I’m a sucker for squares. The best g shocks are square g shocks!

Any idea if this series a limited a edition or something they will be selling for the foreseeable future?
These types of color series, though not advertised as a limited edition, usually have a set amount of production and will be discontinued. But they could still be available for a long time.
