G-Shock GM-2100MWG-1A Milky Way Galaxy Edition with laser-engraved steel bezel

G-Shock China announced the GM-2100MWG-1A Milky Way Galaxy Edition as an October release, made in collaboration with the China Aerospace Science and Technology International Exchange Center. The watch joins the likes of the GM-2100MG-1A and GM-110EARTH-1A as a deluxe galaxy-themed model with a stainless steel bezel.
The bezel has a purple ion plating which is laser engraved to form unique wavy patterns, giving the watch an otherworldly and psychedelic look. The dial has a gradated metallic vapor deposition with small specks on it to represent the Milky Way. The resin band is translucent with a stainless steel keeper, and the watch has an exclusive case back design.
In China, the GM-2100MWG-1APFY has a price of 1,990 yuan, with priority pre-orders starting on October 23. The watch includes a special box, which may be exclusive to China. The GM-2100MWG-1A is also expected to be released in other regions later.
