G-Shock Mudman G9300-1 (G-9300 series) is discontinued

G-Shock G-9300 Discontinued

We previously reported on the GW-9300 series being officially discontinued in Japan, and the G-Shock Mudman G-9300 series appears to have followed the same path. The G9300-1 is sold out at Casio U.S. and is no longer on the dealer price list as it used to be. Casio Singapore had the G-9300-1 in stock earlier this year, but it is now designated as an “Old Model” there, along with the black and gold G-9300GB-1.

The G-9300-1 was the international (ex-Japan) version with Tough Solar, Twin Sensor (compass and thermometer), and moon graph, but without Multi-Band 6 or the carbon fiber insert band of the GW-9300. Originally released in 2011, the G-9300 and GW-9300 were prominent Master of G series in the 2010s, with the GW-9300 featured in some 30th Anniversary series and limited colorways.

The good news is that the mud-resistant Mudman line lives on with the GW-9500 series (below), featuring many improvements over the G-9300 such as Multi-Band 6, Triple Sensor, a duplex LCD display with large digits, and sunrise/sunset time. The Mudman G9000 is also still available in the U.S. at various retailers.

Other mud-resistant G-Shock lines include the GX-56, Rangeman GPR-H1000, and analog-digital Mudmaster series.
