Action Bronson teases G-Shock GA-2100 ‘Desert King’ collaboration with Baklava

American rapper and television host Action Bronson teased a collaborative G-Shock release with his Baklava clothing brand. An Instagram post (embedded below) shows the Queens native wearing a G-Shock GA-2100 watch with a translucent brown bezel, black wire screen protector, grid sphere print on the black dial, red-tinted LCD display, and strap adapters with a cloth band. Bronson states that the name of the watch is “Desert King.” There is also an image of the co-branded case back, which identifies the watch as a limited model that is made in Japan.
“Baklava” comes from one of Action Bronson’s aliases (Mr. Baklava) and also serves as the name of his online store (baklavafleamarket.com) and clothing brand, which previously collaborated with New Balance for a series of shoes and activewear. Bronson hosted a three-day pop-up event in late April with the “Baklava Megastore” at Shopify New York in SoHo, where he was wearing the upcoming G-Shock watch.
