G-Shock GW-5000U-1 is back in stock in at Casio Japan and U.S., rumored discontinuation now in doubt

The G-Shock GW-5000U-1 is back in stock at Casio Japan (GW-5000U-1JF) and Casio U.S. (GW5000U-1), which seems to dispel the rumor that it is being discontinued, at least for the time being. It also appears to be fully restocked at all the official G-Shock Store locations in Japan. Sales still remain “suspended” at Bic Camera in Japan, and it is now no longer sold directly by Amazon Japan. Perhaps Casio is scaling back production on this model and making it more exclusive to Casio’s own sites and official stores. Or maybe this is the last batch before it is discontinued.
