When the S.W.A.T. television series made its debut in 2017, we watched the trailers but failed to notice that actress Lina Esco wore a G-Shock DW-5600 as Christina “Chris” Alonso in the show. The character is a member of the L.A.P.D. K-9 unit and the only female member of the S.W.A.T. team. Somewhere along the way, she switched to wearing a G-Shock GA-100. The model appears to be a blackout GA-100-1A1 with white hands. The GA-100 series is known to be a popular choice with real life police and law enforcement personnel.
S.W.A.T., a reboot of the 1975 television series, is currently into its fourth season and is available for streaming at CBS All Access, Amazon, and other services.
