The Minions x Baby-G collab is a tribute to retro video games

New for August in China, the Baby-G BA-110MON21-7APRM and BGD-501MON21-7PRM watches are a collaboration with the Minions cartoon franchise from Illumination. Featuring an 8-bit style, the custom designs are a tribute to retro video games. Other exclusive elements for these limited edition watches include an engraved case back and a special watch box in the shape of a Minions figure that emits light and sounds from the movie. According to Casio, these models are made in Japan. It’s not currently known if these will be released outside of China.
The Minions sequel “Minions: The Rise of Gru” will be released on July 1, 2022.
