New G-Shock 2100 metal octagonal lines are launching this year

A new Tough Solar and Bluetooth-equipped octagonal 2100 series with a metal bezel was recently leaked and is expected to be released in May 2024. (Update: It is now expected to be released in June 2024.) Like the GM-2100, the GBM-2100 series has a stainless steel bezel with an expected resin case. The GBM-2100 is not expected to have a Carbon Core Guard case (as the GM-2100 doesn’t), but this has not been confirmed. The watch is expected to have the same functions as the GA-B2100, and it appears to have the same indicator and LCD display as that series. The dial has a different texture than the flat basic style of the GA-B2100, with a unique radiator-like pattern, and the resin band is also textured.
The black GBM-2100-1A, light blue GBM-2100A-1A2, and green GBM-2100A-1A3 have silver bezels and black resin bands, with the black and blue models also having positive LCD displays. The GBM-2100B-7A has a white resin band, black ion-plated bezel, and a black dial with red accents and a negative LCD display.
Another new line of 2100 models that was leaked is the GM-2110, which is based on the existing GM-2100 with a stainless steel bezel and includes a stainless steel band. Five GM-2110D models are expected to be released in October 2024 or maybe November. According to a leaked image, all have a silver bezel and band and a positive LCD display, with the distinguishing factor being the dial color. Compared to the GM-B2100 band, the GM-2110 band has a more basic look with softer-looking edges and without the iconic dimples. The dial color choices include orange, light green, silver, light blue, and navy blue. As these models are based on the GM-2100, they are battery-powered with a battery life expectancy of about three years. This is the first time that a metal-covered GM series (not including the full metal GM-B2100) includes a stainless steel band. The GM-2110 models are expected to have the same dimensions as the GM-2100 (49.3 x 44.4 x 11.8 mm).
Another (full) metal 2100 series that is expected to launch this year is the full analog MRG-B2100, which was previously leaked.
