Singapore to get My G-Shock watch customization access via raffle for 42nd birthday

Singapore will be the first country outside of Japan to have access to the My G-Shock watch customization service, albeit in a very limited capacity for 42 raffle winners. The raffle celebrates the 42nd birthday of G-Shock on April 12. Entries are now open (link below) and will close on April 12 (11:59 pm), and a (free) Casio ID is required to enter. Casio states that prices range from S$219 (GST included), depending on selected customization options. Winners will be notified by email on April 15 and will be required to place their orders in person. Casio Singapore will be hosting the customization sessions for the winners at Odeon Towers from April 22 to April 24 (6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.), and winners will be assigned a time slot based on selected preferences, with each session lasting 30 minutes. (It sounds like the winners may be limited to the parts that Casio Singapore will have on hand and in stock, and may not have access to the full online options from Japan.)

The My G-Shock service (casio.com/jp) was originally launched in Japan in 2021 and gives customers the opportunity to purchase and customize a G-Shock DWE-5610 online featuring a Carbon Core Guard case and quick release band. For the online service, there are different options available for the LCD display, bezel, bands, face, backlight design, buttons, band keeper, and buckle.
