Other G-Shock watches Casio announced at Baselworld 2015 are new editions of existing high-end models. They are the GPW-1000T which is a Gravitymaster GPW-1000 with a titanium bezel and case back, a limited Basel Special edition GPW-1000TBS, and the MRG-G1000RT (above) which is likely the most expensive G-Shock ever with a limited production of 100 and a price of £4,500.

The solar powered GPW-1000T with analog display is known for its GPS Hybrid Wave Ceptor hybrid technology and Triple Resist shock protection including resistance to vibration and centrifugal gravitational force. The GPW-1000TBS-1A features an aged ion plated treatment in gold and black with an aged-looking gold bezel.

The MRG-G1000RT has a gold and black color scheme with a black bezel. The titanium bezel design was inspired by the grain or “nie” pattern found on the surface of traditional Japanese sword blades. The watch also features a “Japan Blue” diamond-like carbon coating that changes its tone when viewed at different angles.
