G-Shock MTG-B1000B-1A4 Black IP and Red Band

The third addition to the new Bluetooth-equipped MTG-B1000 line, the G-Shock MTG-B1000B-1A4 features a black IP body and a red urethane band. The red-accented display is similar to the MTG-B1000B-1A black IP model with black band. The differences include additional bezel lettering paint for the function names and red instead of black for the urethane case components seen on the sides and rear of the watch.

The Tough Solar-powered MTG-B1000B-1A4 has a smaller form factor than the previous generation MTG-G1000, and is downsized by 3 mm in length, 3 mm in width, and 2.5 mm in thickness. The MTG-B1000B-1A4 features 2-way time sync through Multi-Band 6 radio waves or internet servers via a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone. The Bluetooth link also provides easy watch setting access (300-city world time, home/world time switching, alarm setting) and a phone finder function. Other distinguishing features include Triple G Resist (shock, g-forces, vibration), dual dial world time, stopwatch, daily alarm, a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and Super Illuminator LED light.

The G-Shock MTG-B1000B-1A4JF is a July 2018 release in Japan with a list price of ¥100,000 JPY and will also be released throughout Asia.

Update: Casio America announced the MTGB1000B-1A4 for a May 2019 release with a list price of $900 USD.
