Along with the previously covered watches (listed below), G-Shock is releasing pro surfer Kanoa Igarashi’s fourth signature model, the GBX-H5600KI-5, and three sporty GBA-950 colorways.
Kanoa Igarashi x G-Shock GBX-H5600KI-5
The advanced GBX-H5600 with tide and moon graphs, heart rate monitor, and step tracker gets it first post-launch colorway with Kanoa Igarashi’s fourth signature model, the G-Shock GBX-H5600KI-5.
Inspired by the pro surfer’s training grounds near the cliffs of Portugal, the watch has a brown mixed-color molding that results in random patterns on the bezel and band of each watch. Igarashi’s signature is printed on the face and case back, and his WSL surfer number “50” is printed on the lower band, which he chose based on its relation to the meaning of his surname (“fifty storms”).
G-Shock GBA-950 Sporty Colors
The Strava-compatible GBA-950 series with a step counter and Bluetooth is also getting its first post-launch colorways with the black and orange GBA-950-1A4, white and blue GBA-950-7A2, and yellow and green GBA-950-9A3. (Casio states that the GBA-950-9A3 has a black dial, but it looks more like a dark green.) These models will be released in Asia in July (and possibly other regions), excluding Japan. Along with its fitness features, the GBA-950 is also known for its integrated bezel and band and structure large phosphorescent indices.
