Tennis player Kei Nishikori wears G-Shock at Tokyo Olympics

Japanese tennis player Kei Nishikori upset fifth-seeded Andrey Rublev in the first round of men’s tennis at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and he did it while wearing a G-Shock GA-2100SKE-7A watch. Close-up photos from other sources show that the watch has custom rainbow markers and is possibly one of the “jellyfish” models by the Dial Artist from IFL Watches. Nishikori was previously spotted wearing another GA-2100 series watch during Wimbledon 2021, a custom gray GA-2110ET-2A that appears to be the Grey Rainbow model from IFL Watches.

Nishikori will face American Marcos Giron in the second round. He is also competing in men’s doubles with Ben McLachlan, where they are currently in the quarterfinal round.

(We also spotted American women’s softball pitcher Monica Abbott wearing a G-Shock GMD-S6900 during her interview in Episode 2 of “Destination: Tokyo” on Peacock.)
