The Casio Watch Ring Collection 2nd Edition was released in Japan on April 16, and one of the rings was listed as “secret” and undisclosed. It’s been revealed that the mystery ring is based on the G-Shock DW-5600, and it’s actually modeled after the new DW-5600UE-1 released in late 2023, featuring the LED backlight and improved 5-year battery life. The wearable ring is a miniature replica and does not contain a working clock, but it has a realistic-looking display that shows the familiar 10:58:50 time.
We found a picture of the DW-5600 ring on Twitter, and some Japanese eBay sellers have also provided images of it in their listings. The ring set was released only in Japan, but the complete set, which includes a total of six rings based on iconic Casio watches, is available on eBay. The first collection of five rings did not include any G-Shock models.
