G-Shock GMA-S2100 pre-orders are selling out in Japan

Japan, which for some reason is only getting the black GMA-S2100-1AJF and white GMA-S2100-7AJF from the new GMA-S2100 series for women, is seeing these models sell out of their pre-order allocations. Both models have sold out at the official Casio online shop (e-casio.co.jp), and reservations for the GMA-S2100-7AJF are full at the Bic Camera online shop. Other than the AWG-M520-1AJF, these are the only other March 2021 models to sell out so far.
This doesn’t necessarily mean these models are going to sell out right away at all the other Japanese retailers, or that they will sell out in other countries, but it is an indication that these models are very popular in Japan.
The GMA-S2100 is a smaller version of the bestselling GA-2100, which is known by the nickname “CasiOak” due to its octagonal bezel that resembles the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch.
