Here’s something you don’t see every day. A customer allegedly received this G-Shock GBD-H2000 by mistake, as the GBD-H2000 has not been released yet. This was shared to us anonymously, and we don’t know where the watch was bought from, but it appears to be from the United Kingdom.

The GBD-H2000 appears to have a different type of heart rate sensor than the one seen on the GBD-H1000 and GSW-H1000, but it’s yet to be known what advantages it has over the previous sensor.

The GBD-H2000 is expected to have a gyroscope (in addition to the 5 sensors of the GBD-H1000: step counter, heart rate, pressure with altimeter and barometer, compass, thermometer) and enhanced functionality with support for swimming and workouts, along with advanced training features for running. It also looks like it may be a little smaller than the GBD-H1000. Other features include GPS, solar-assisted charging, and Bluetooth smartphone link. The GBD-H2000 is expected to be released soon, possibly this spring.
