The G-Shock 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Porter Collection Bag Set was announced in Japan for a November release with a tax-included price of 184,800 yen. The made-in-Japan GM-B2100VF-1A is the first (and possibly only) 40th Anniversary GM-B2100 model and includes a commemorative anniversary bag made by Porter, which can double as a storage case for five watches. The water-repellent bag made of Ventile fabric has an octagonal base inspired by the GM-B2100, and an embossed leather 40th Anniversary logo tag is sewn on the interior. Along with the aged black ion plating on the stainless steel bezel and band of the watch, beige luminescent paint on the hands add to the vintage style.
The watch will be available at three Porter stores in Japan (Porter Omotesando, Porter Tokyo, Porter Osaka) on November 10, 2023, along with the Yoshida & Co. online store at yoshidakaban.com. The GM-B2100VF-1AJR watch is also listed at casio.com/jp, and the GM-B2100VF-1A is listed for an Asia release at casio.com/intl. According to a previous leak, the watch is also expected to be released in the U.S. in December 2023 for $1,530, but this has not been confirmed. The production number was not revealed.
Update: The G-Shock Soho Store in New York City is now selling the GMB2100VF-1A for $1,530.

Another leak shared by Reddit user Geesgshock is the full metal G-Shock GM-B2100VF-1A Porter Original Collection Case Set, which is a G-Shock 40th Anniversary limited edition and collaboration with Japanese bagmaker Yoshida & Co. and its Porter brand. The watch “comes in a special package … which can also be used as a storage case for watch collection.” The bezel and band have a black aged ion plated treatment for a worn vintage style. The accent colors are based on the original G-Shock DW-5000C-1A, which was also the inspiration for the resin GA-B2100-1A. The leak states that the GMB2100VF-1A (presumably the U.S. model) will be released in December 2023 for $1,530.
As a GM-B2100 model, the GM-B2100VF-1A has Tough Solar power and Bluetooth smartphone link, along with a screw-back stainless steel case. The GM-B2100VF-1A is the first GM-B2100 with a positive (non-inverted) LCD display.
