Singaporean artist and frequent G-Shock collaborator Jahan Loh created an anime-style promo for the G-Shock GM-6900. The video is an extension of Loh’s “Intergalactic Dreams” art series, featuring the spaceman “Rize,” who was also seen as part of Loh’s Ion Orchard DW-5600 collaboration and on the packaging of his Year of the Rat 2020 collaboration.
“There Is No Planet B” depicts the spaceman exploring Planet M30 in 2069 because Earth is becoming uninhabitable due to depleted resources. On his wrist is the GM-6900G-9 with a gold IP finish. The DW-6900 series celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and the GM-6900 series is a special release featuring forged stainless steel bezels.
“The GM6900 is as tough as they come, and I see it being tough enough to withstand all intergalactic climates and terrain,” says Loh.
