G-Shock GMA-P2100W-7A for International Women’s Day

G-Shock GMA-P2100W-7A: GMA-P2100

The G-Shock GMA-P2100W-7A is a surprising new model that was announced for January 2024 in Asia (excluding Japan) and is expected to be released worldwide. This model commemorates International Women’s Day (March 8) with a faint yellow color inspired by mimosa flowers and an exclusive yellow box. This is the first GMA-P2100 model to be listed, and it is basically a smaller version of the GMA-S2100 which itself is a smaller version of the popular GA-2100.

The GMA-P2100 measures 46 x 40.2 x 11.2 millimeters and weighs 40 grams. (In comparison, the GMA-S2100 measures 46.2 x 42.9 x 11.2 mm and weighs 41 grams.) Unlike the GMA-S2100, the GMA-P2100 does not have a carbon-reinforced case and is not a Carbon Core Guard model. It has a standard resin case and a bezel and band made of bio-based resins. Another difference is that the GMA-P2100 does not have the analog day-of-week indicator, and it has a shorter band length with a compatible size of 145 to 190 millimeters. It has the same expected battery life of around three years but uses a single CR1025 battery. The GMA-P2100 is fully shock-resistant and water-resistant to 200 meters.

The GMA-P2100 shares the same functions as the GMA-S2100, including world time, 1/100-second stopwatch (1-second after 60 minutes), 24-hour countdown timer, 5 daily alarms, hourly time signal, double LED light, and full auto-calendar.

In the U.S., the GMAP2100W-7A is expected to have a price of $99. There are also more GMA-P2100 models expected to be coming soon in blue, red, and white.
