We recently noticed that Casio released a print-style G-Shock catalog for Japan that appears to be from Spring/Summer 2023. (This catalog is available in Japanese only and there is no English version, but you can find some English catalogs for individual series at gshock.casio.com/intl.) The catalog features all the new and classic series you would expect, along with a roster of Team G-Shock athletes. Perhaps what’s more notable than the recent releases are the older series that are featured in the catalog, some of which do not get much attention when it comes to new releases and marketing these days. This seems to suggest that these series will not be completely discontinued anytime soon, although there is no guarantee of that. Many of these models have been discontinued in other countries but are still available in Japan.

MTG-B1000: MTG-B1000D-1AJF, MTG-B1000XBD-1AJF
MTG-B2000: MTG-B2000BD-1A4JF (The MTG-B2000YR-1A was released after this catalog was published.)
Mudmaster GWG-100: GWG-100-1AJF (Tough Solar and Multi-Band 6 without sensors)
Rangeman GW-9400: GW-9400YJ-1F (We also noticed that Casio added new fashion photos to the official GW-9400J-1JF listing.)
Frogman GWF-D1000: The GWF-D1000B-1JF with water depth meter, compass with auto horizontal compensation, and thermometer is actually featured more prominently than the analog GWF-A1000 in the catalog
Frogman GWF-1000: GWF-1000-1JF
Gulfmaster GWN-1000: GWN-1000B-1BJF
Gravitymaster GPW-2000: GPW-2000-1A2JF
Gravitymaster GWA-1100: GWA-1100-1A3JF
Gravitymaster GW-3000: GW-3000B-1AJF
According to the official Casio listings, the GPW-2000-1A2JF, GWA-1100-1A3JF, and GW-3000B-1AJF are made in Japan, along with all Frogman models and the MTG-B1000 and MTG-B2000 series.
Other older series that make an appearance include the GST-B100, GST-W300, GST-W110, GW-8900, GW-2310, AW-590/591, AWG-M100, and GAW-100.
