ABlogtoWatch and Unboxall TV are the first YouTube channels to feature English-language in-hand reviews of the newly launched G-Shock MRG-B5000 series.
The ABlogtoWatch video features both the MRG-B5000B-1 and the MRG-B5000D-1. Host Ariel Adams gives an introduction to what the MR-G series is and talks about the construction and features of the MRG-B5000 models. The video is an informative overview of both watches, but it could use more closeups. There is also a written review at ablogtowatch.com with many more exclusive photos.
The Unboxall TV video features the MRG-B5000B-1 and has some very nice closeups. The polished surfaces, gold accents, and overall level of refinement shine through in this video, but the host admits he would rather admire it than purchase it for $4,000.
